PITTI TASTE 18 FIRENZE

Our Success at the 18th Edition of Pitti Taste: An Opportunity for Growth and Visibility for Ligurian Pesto

Participating in Pitti Taste 18 in Florence, from February 3rd to 5th, was an extraordinary experience for our Ligurian pesto company. The event, dedicated to Italy’s gastronomic excellence, exceeded all expectations. Over 12,300 visitors attended, with a 19% increase in Italian and international buyers compared to the previous edition. More than 8,500 industry professionals were present, creating a unique atmosphere. It was a great opportunity for growth and networking for all participants, including us.

A Vibrant Environment of Collaboration and Discovery

Meeting buyers, distributors, restaurateurs, and chefs from over 60 countries allowed us to consolidate and develop new partnerships. We were able to promote the tradition of our pesto and the quality of our artisanal production. The presence of over 900 foreign buyers, along with the high influx of international operators from countries such as France, Germany, the United States, and Japan, confirmed the growing interest in high-quality Italian products like our pesto, which is a symbol of Ligurian tradition.

PITTI TASTE 18: An Edition That Highlights the Quality and Passion of the Sector

The greatest satisfaction came not only from the numbers but also from the quality of the interactions between exhibitors and buyers. Every meeting was an opportunity to tell our story, share our passion for our work, and showcase what makes Ligurian pesto special. Our participation in Pitti Taste was also an opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to quality and sustainability. These are the values that set us apart and were appreciated by both visitors and industry professionals.

Internationalization: A Path Forward

One of the key aspects of this edition was the consolidation of the fair’s international dimension. This was one of the goals we set from the beginning. With the support of institutions such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ICE Agency, we had the opportunity to connect with operators and buyers from non-European markets like Australia, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and Brazil. Our company was able to expand its international network, strengthening its presence in foreign markets.

Side Events and the Visibility of Ligurian Tradition

We are also thrilled by the visibility Ligurian pesto received thanks to the fair’s side events. Taste Talks and special presentations animated the UniCredit Taste Arena. Our product, along with other Italian gastronomic excellences, had the honor of being a key part of the scene, getting recognized in unique settings. Additionally, the nearly 70 FuoriDiTaste events around the city brought life to Florence’s most beautiful locations. These initiatives created opportunities for visibility and exchange with other key players in Italian gastronomy.

A Promising Future for Ligurian Pesto

In conclusion, we look back with pride on our participation in an event that celebrated the best of Italian agri-food. Pitti Taste gave us the chance to showcase the quality of our pesto on an international stage. Our commitment continues, and with confidence in our product and the passion that drives us, we are ready to grow even further. We are aware that events like Pitti Taste are essential for promoting and appreciating our Liguria and the pesto that represents it. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this edition, from the institutions to the people who work tirelessly to keep our business moving forward.
