Genoese pesto with Genoese basil D.O.P “Ancient recipe”
Pesto alla genovese is the most classic of Ligurian condiments.
In compliance with the traditional recipe of western Liguria, we prepare Genoese pesto every day by combining DOP basil, our extra virgin olive oil, pine nuts, pecorino cheese, Grana Padano DOP, sea salt and garlic from Vessalico, slow food presidium.
These are the ingredients of a quality artisan pesto, made according to the ancient Ligurian tradition.
Ingredients: Genoese Basil DOP 39%, extra virgin olive oil, Grana Padano DOP (milk, salt, rennet, egg protein lysozyme), Pecorino (sheep’s milk, salt, rennet), pine nuts, garlic, salt, antioxidant: ascorbic acid.
May contain traces of nuts, fish and sulphites
Storage: store at room temperature away from heat sources and direct light. After opening, store in the refrigerator and consume within a few days.
